The Event Pavilion Durham is situated on the main square in downtown where the former Washington Duke Hotel stood until 1975.
This structure is a manifestation of the collective memory of a long gone period and traces the former grid lines of the hotel.
Adapted to the current geometry and traffic flows of today, this pavilion invites passersby to rest, contemplate or play on its wooden plains.
